Cole is an ordinary, likable man whose life takes a dark turn after witnessing a horrific murder-suicide. Since that traumatic event, everything has spiraled downward: his wife has left him, he's plagued by disturbing hallucinations, and his once-promising career has plummeted to a blue-collar job with a carpet cleaning company. Just when it seems he's hit rock bottom, Cole is assigned a late-night cleaning job at an Italian-style mansion far from the city. Accompanying him is Henry, the wealthy and arrogant homeowner who enjoys toying with Cole’s mind, making him believe he might have just killed his wife. A suspicious reddish stain on the carpet, a knife digging into roasted rabbit, and a relentlessly ringing cell phone—all these clues blur the line between reality and delusion. Is there been a murder, or is Cole losing his grip on his already fragile sanity? With dynamic camera work and a cleverly eerie sound design, this suspenseful black comedy keeps audiences guessing until the final frame.
